Curling iron?

I have straight medium-length hair. As it gets longer and longer, it looks very boring just straight the way it is now. I am thinking about buying a curling iron to change my look every once in a while...I'd love to have waves or big curls, like Gisele's in this picture http://www.thecinemasource.com/moviesdb/...

Which curling irons do you suggest? I am looking for one that has good quality, I don't care much about the price.

Thanks!

Curling iron?

Hello, I am a hair stylist. I couldn't see the picture, but I think I know what you are talking about. Ceramic curling irons are very good, but the plain old cheap ones work fine if you don't mind it taking a little longer. Buy one with a big barrel, maybe 1 1/2 - 2 inches. Use a heat protecting spray or cream so the heat doesn't damage your hair. If you don't already, get some holding spray too so your curls will stay put. The best hair spray ever is Big Sexy Hair. It is only sold in salons, but it is worth the trip! You could also buy some hot rollers. I am not very familiar with those, but my mother uses them all the time.

I use my mom's old curling iron and it works pretty well. The brand is Revlon.I think you can use any curling iron but the cheap ones suck. Also when you curl your hair, put moose or hair spray in it so the curls will stay of course.
