ok so can u do a messy bun with medium length hair and if so how do you do messy buns

It took me a while to figure this out too. Now its so easy but hard to explain. I put my hair up like Im going to put it in a ponytail but I dont pull it all the way out I just continue to loop the elasc around my hair. I hope this helped probably not. Sorry

Just experiment and try everything. Just put it like you are putting it in a ponytail then just twist it around and secure it with a hair tie.

i do a messy bun all the time. just mess up you hair a little (dont make it perfect), pin a couple of pieces back, and twist the hair around the nape of the neck. take a hair band and twist it around the base of the bun, and stretch it over half the bun (it looks best if the hair band is the same color as your hair). it will stay. good luck!

i think you can do it with medium hair.

it depends what you think "medium" is.

And its very hard to explain how to make one.

Espeically over the internet.

But what i do, is put the hair tie on your wrist.

Bend down and gather your hair.

Come up still holding your hair and put the hair tie around once, liek your about to put it in a pony tail.

Then, the next time instead of doing another pony tail thing dont go all the way in instead just go half way..

I do this bend action where I bend my back like I'm picking up something and I flip my hair....I take my hair tie and then gather my hair in a pony tail....then i wrap it with the tie and pull it through....it comes out really cute....alot of people do this messy bun at the beach...

yes you can...get a topsy tail thingy....they work wonders!!!! and it comes out pro everytime...and you can do it all by yourself!
