i have medium length hair with short layers. if i don't straighten it, it looks like a big poofy ball of bed head, if i do straighten it, the layers are way too flat. What should i do????
I need some help with my layers.?
I have the same problem!
I straighten it and then tease the roots arround my crown.
add some hair spray and its amazing.
good luck

hmm.. i think that i would straighten it because i personally think flat is better than poofy lol. like when i was little i would say "no poofy" to the hairdresser lol not like they knew what i was talking about. okay i have no idea why i just told you that haha im a rambler i guess. ANYWAY, back to your question: so yeah, i would put volumizing spray or gel or something of that sort so that it still has volume which will probably help your layer problem. hope that helps! :)

try going to the hairdresser and asking them to thin your hair out. this will keep the layers looking obvious but you shouldnt need to straighten it because the thinning will get rid of the frizziness.

try just straightening the bottom layer or see if there are any hair products or shapoos against "poof-y-ness"

straighten the top layer, and just straighten the ends of the rest of your hair.... that way the poofiness of the hair underneath gives it volume, i would say what the first girl said, bc thats what i do but..she already said that, thats probably the best way to go... good luckk!
